Jake built our custom American Barn style home back in 2024. Jake was very open and honest about the build and always kept us in the loop. He was very reasonable priced and his attention to detail was exquisite. We've had minimal issues since moving in and any issues we did have were rectified very quickly. We couldn’t recommend Jake Ryan Building & Construction highly enough. We’ve now lived in our home for two years after building in 2024, which has given us plenty of time to appreciate the quality of the workmanship. Throughout the entire build, Jake and his team were professional, organised and genuinely cared about delivering a high-quality home. From the initial design stage, everything was transparent. Pricing was clearly explained, there were no surprises, and Jake always took the time to discuss different options that suited both our budget and the style we were trying to achieve. We never felt pressured into unnecessary upgrades, and his advice throughout the process was honest and practical. The build itself ran on time, stayed on budget, and the site was consistently clean, safe and well organised. It was obvious that Jake has exceptionally high standards and expects the same from every trade working on his projects. The attention to detail and overall finish of our home reflects that commitment to quality. Communication was excellent from start to finish. We always knew what stage the build was at, what was coming next, and any questions we had were answered promptly. Jake Ryan Building completed a full renovation of our property in 2025, inside and out, including adding an extension. Jake was wonderful to work with. Great communication, always happy to discuss options to ensure that everything we wanted was possible….nothing was too difficult. Everything was completed efficiently and to a high standard, with great attention to detail. All of the trades were great to deal with. Overall it was a very smooth process. I would be more than confident in using Jake Ryan Building again and highly recommend to anyone.

We give Jake five stars, because there is no place to give him ten. From the first discussions, to the end of the three month builders’ warranty, Jake was great to deal with, and most professional. The attention to detail, the flexibility with client requirements, great communications - we always knew what was happening. In all, this was the best experience that a renovation could provide. An excellent bunch of trades, who were all considerate of us. That was important, as we were living here while half the house was a building site! So glad that we were able to secure Jake for our renovation.
